Real Estate is actually kind of booming this year - but only on some areas of the world. Some had decreased in terms of this industry due to certain domino effects on the economy - like for example - unemployment does affect the real estate industry. When an area have a stronghold for its economy, no doubt that it may have better results on its real estate industry. On the other hand, when a country or area has no stronghold of its economy, possibly it may affect the real estate industry as well.

It is the fact that location matters are worth to be concerned. And it also depends on local people's thought about real estate.
Actually real estate in Viet Nam is difficult to sell out. I hope at the end of this year this situation will improve and better both in Viet Nam and all over the world.

Being in real estate niche for quite some time, i noticed beyond what i have knew before that, real estate business is big and this year, it is really booming. There are recessions yet many people all over the world can still buy and afford new homes and properties. And realtors and buyers are smart enough to join forces while housing business is in demand.

Well, when you pertain to all over the world, real estate is quite booming. But per country, you cannot actually say that. Real estate industry is affected by almost every industry and economy of a country. When a country has stable economy and then growing economy as well, probably the RE industry of that country might get well since having good economy may lead to good employment rates for the country citizens - then people have their own financial stability - enabling them to buy their own properties, which may boom as well the RE industry. But that is only among the facts that affects it.

It does look like it might be picking up, but hopefully that's not just me hoping that's the case. I'm not sure what it's like around the world, but here in Las Vegas it's been pretty bad. Recently it does seem to be leveling off though.

Here's a niche market I know about and happy to share: Budapest, Hungary.
Selling has been a nightmare in here, no local has the cash for buying any real estate, banks are reluctant to give forex mortgages since 2008. This is bad.
The upside is, the rental market is good, of course, the rental prices are down about 30-40%. Great if you're a tenant, not so much if you're a property owner of manager....

Current situation is not bad and not good. Choosing right place for investment is good in everywhere and it's give huge returns also. Just be careful while choosing real estate, check all factors before investment.
