Default How to found a realty company

    Hi

I want to try real estate business and have a few basic questions if anybody could help answer:

Is it possible to establish my own realty company, I am considering not only to become a Realtor, but also representation the company behind the Realtor. What's the qualifications and requirements of registering a realty company? Will it cost a lot to maintain such a realty licence? (I am in Kansas state)

What's the difference between a real estate agent and a broker?

Don't laugh me as I am still new to this business. but I am trying to think big at starting.

    Thank you very much!

Default Difference between real estate agent and a broker

Not just you... most of the people mistakenly believe that a real estate agent and a real estate broker are the same, but this is actually untrue.

I read the difference from an article which was stated like this

" From a technical standpoint, the difference between a real estate agent and a real estate broker is the fact that they hold different licenses. In order to obtain the different licensing, a real estate broker must actually complete additional coursework beyond what a real estate agent must complete.

Although many people use the terms real estate agent and real estate broker interchangeably, a broker actually has more schooling and bears more responsibilities throughout the transaction. "

Default agent, broker and realty firm

Somebody told me a real estate agent works for 3-4 years and has sold around 20 houses will be eligible to get a broker licence. and once someone obtains a broker license, he could open a realty company to start hiring agents working for him. Is this true?

Most people don't understand that a real estate broker has personal responsibility for the actions of the agents they hire. Tremendous experience and skill are required, as well as patience, financial capacity, and the ability to not only teach others but to celebrate other's successes.

Real estate agent needs to pass Pre license course then take there real estate test at there states real estate commission. Once they have past that test they are considered a provisional real estate agent (PSA),can then place there license with a license Broker to sell homes and LEARN. With in the first year they need to past there Post license test to become a real estate agent. in order to qualify for there brokers license they need to pass the appropriate course and have 2 years active sales experience under a license broker (broker needs to sing off on this)go back to your real estate commission and pass the brokers test. Bam you are now ready to open your own doors as a broker and hire your agents.

Keep this in mind agents don't just sell we are obligated to abide by strong ethics. or one can be held civilly or even criminally liable. Brokers are responsible for there actions in this way and also the actions of all there agents.

It is important to find a reliable realty company, there are lots of realty business now a days. To find realty company check the reputation of the company first because it definitely reflects the integrity and success of the company.

This post is a great one and highly appreciated. NO you can not have both licences at a time. Though I'm not sure. But you can skip to renew the licence.

You need to do a lot of research first (both online and offline) and contact these people as soon as your business is running..
