    Default google analytics

Can someone please tell me more about "google analytics"?

Is it just for Blogs? Can you use instead of a stats program on an html site?

I appreciate any info you can post about it and personal experiences with this program.

google analytics is the best stat program out there. You can put it on any html page to track where people came from, where they're located, what page they left, and much, much, much more.

I agree, GA is a must have for any website. It is very easy to use and you can get all sorts of useful information about visitors and your site. You should also install hittail on your site as well.

Honesty if you have a site you should start using it right away. It gives you very useful information about your visitors and the sooner you install it the sooner it can start collecting the information. (It must be installed to collect information about your visitors)

Also, I recommend using Google Web Master Tools if you have an interest in SEO and would like to see the way the Google crawler views your site.

Can you give me a link to the webmaster tools?

I have a stats program installed that my hosting company offered for free. How do I know if the one I am currently using is sufficient or if I should install GA?

They should both be able to run together.

Why not just install Google Analytics give yourself a side by side comparison.

I did not know you could use both at the same time. Thanks again!

My favorite part of Google analytics is checking to see what keywords are used to find my site. It's pretty cool.
