Default Fractional Real Estate Ownership is UP

There are many sectors in the real estate market. The big downturn is taking place in the general housing market - no doubt about it. Regardless of the rate cuts, the mortgage mess will still be there and it won't go away anytime soon.

On the other hand, we see a continuing growth in the fractional real estate market. The fractional model is to have a small group of co-owners share the cost of owning and upkeeping a luxury vacation home. This market has been going strong both in the US and European markets.

Real estate is always local. Nationally, I would say the trend is DOOOOOOWWWWWWNNNNNNNN!!!!!

You have to look at the specific location and market though.
