    Default FHA CAIVR requires Real Estate SS# for buyers Loan Application ???

    Hello everyone,
    I'm new here. Sorry if this question had been asked/answered before but I did a search on CAIVR and did not find any hit.

    Anyway, here' my situation:

    I have this situation where a client is applying for a loan and the loan officer called and told me that the loan is being applied under CAIVR. What concerns me is that they are asking for my Social Security number (as the buyer's agent) as if indicating that the loan approval is dependent on me supplying my SS# to them.

    So my question is: Had anyone heared of this and if this is a real requirement or is someone trying to trick me?

    Of course, I did not provide them the information and I'd like to know what everyone here thinks or know of that.

    Thank you so much for any information you can share.
    ++++

    Edit:
    Apparently they needed to check if the brokers (seller/buyer) are qualified under FHA guidelines. I think they mean the LDP and GSA requirements. But, do they really need my SS# instead of my Real Estate Agent License?

    Well, I am looking for a personal loan, but I am having a hard time, my credit score is low due to my credit cards being at their limits. I want to pay them off to bring my score back up. I also promised my kids we would actually take a vacation this summer. Where can I get a personal loan with really poor credit? Does anyone know a legitimate company that could help me? Have a nice day.
