I guess for people without credit who need one to book a hotel or something you need a credit card for. Maybe so they don't have to carry so much cash on them

Prepaid credit card is the best way to get the advantage of a credit card (book hotel, accumulate awards or points) without the disadvantage of paying interests if you have a late payment

Pre paid debit cards are better than credit cards . But both have different uses .
As debit cards are really good in withdrawing money instantly from your account if you have need , but you have to go to an ATM machine for that credit cards dont need ATM machines .
It is pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness; poverty and wealth have both failed.

That's quite an easy question but do you have it or going to have it?being safer than carry cash, worldwide functionality due to Visa and MasterCard merchant acceptance, not having to worry about paying a credit card bill or going into debt.

Default Good For At Risk Purchases

I use prepaid debit cards for online purchases. This makes it easier to ensure that my personal information and real account numbers, credit cards, etc aren't exposed online. Usually they are for purchases less than $100, or recurring/monthly automatic billing. This way if I'm having a bad month I can deal with the merchant directly verses a bank because they overdrew my account.

Highly suggest using them for purchases under $100. Usually you can load a card up to $500 at one time and they don't allow overdrafts, they'll just deny a transaction.

    Hope that helps!

    Default PrePaid debit cards

These a great way to pay for things when you aren't sure how secure it might be. If you buy things online from companies that aren't well know like Macy's then using one of these cards is a good idea, since they can't be used to get access to your main check account and can only be used up until the money on the card is gone. Much less risk then using a credit card or you regular debit cards.

Also a good way to teach teens responsibility since you have to keep track of spending like you would do on a normal card.
