How did you get started in Real Estate?

I have been doing renovations of houses for friends who are planning to sell their houses and one of them introduced me to the real estate market.

Very simply, I started sending messages to the universe for a better job to make real money, and met two people who offered me a commission based job in the real estate!

I was the bookkeeper for a commercial real estate company and realized I could make a good living as a Realtor (residential). It's been hard work but this is year 5 and I'm in my market to stay!

It is great to hear everyone's story here. I was working as an Architect in Turkey then got married long time sweetheart, moved USA and got in to Real Estate in Dallas around 6 years ago. Time goes so fast!
