Default To Euro Or Not Euro

hi , there is no need to remind everybody that the Euro is going through a rough time now , not only the property market have slumped but all types of industries & trades worldwide have suffered because of this . with 2012 approaching what are your predictions for the next year , will it be with us , or will it be made redundant , what do you prefer to see happening !

I think nobody can predict the destiny of euro as the politicians even don't know what to do about the growing recession in Europe.

The costs involved in ditching the Euro and returning to national currencies would be astronomical and frankly unmanageable. That scenario would condemn countless smaller nations to certain fiscal disaster.

The Euro hasn't lost that much ground against other currencies overall and it will balance out.

Still wouldn't buy it right now... ;-)

I really don't think the euro will survive. With Greece having to be bailed and Spain in trouble too, I don't think countries such as Germany will want to have to deal with it in future. I think it will be gone in a couple of years.
