In late 2009, a really awesome club called the Ricochet, located in the K Mart shopping plaza just north of Edison Mall in Fort Myers, Florida, closed for good after 14 years of hosting some of the best nightlife in Southwest Florida. Ladies' nights were especially special there as the Ricochet had slow dancing, 2 songs back to back, every 30 minutes. And I mean real slow dancing, as in, for instance, Savage Garden's "Truly, Madly, Deeply", R Kelly's "Dedicated (To my favorite girl)", Jodeci's "U&I", Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee", and Simply Red's "If you don't know me by now".
