Question With constant power supply, isnt Thane a good option for residential purposes?

MMRDA is making provisions for regular power supply. With regular and constant power supply in the near future, do you think Thane is a wise choice for commercial and residential proposes?

    Hello versatile,
I think Thane is easily one of the most vibrant suburbs on the Central Line and on all counts that you have mentioned there has been stellar progress over the last five/six years.

its a start, however, there's a few people you need to talk to for the big picture. get to know the town hall and at least one major bank close by. gossip will let you see the true direction...or the loan values LOL

    Hi mmoraider,
Can you be more specific about what you want to convey so that it can help me understand your point.

    Thumbs up Thane is developing

I think Thane is developing and it is indeed as good option for investment and for residential purposes as well. This is because of the various initiatives taken up by the government and the private developers as well.

Knowing the fact that thane is developing now in terms of Infrastructure, developers are also putting in a conscious effort to get rid of all the possible problems. In-fact I have come across various projects in which its prominent. one of the projects i came across was Rustomjee Urbania. It seems to be one of the interesting projects in a city like Thane. Well there are more in the list to follow which simply shows it is a good option for residential purposes.

Thumbs down A word of caution on Rustomjee though

Rustomjee sells properties without municipal approvals some-/most-of-the times. And then charges interest if your bank refuses to do a loan disbursal.
