Are Those No Money Down, No Credit Check Companies Legit

I have been searching on Craigslist for a 3, maybe 4 bedroom house to rent with two of my friends. There are a ton of ads for companies that will find a house for very cheap and with no money down and no credit check. It almost sounds to good to be true. I called one company and the guy said that they can do this because I would be taking over the payments of a house that is about to go into foreclosure and I would also be taking over the title. He said it would cost a one time fee of 99, up front. I just want to know if these companies are legit or is it just a scam.

I don't think it is a scam, however you need to check very carefully the details about the company so that you don't get ripped off
