    Thumbs up Twittering

    Don,

I have started to twitter. My Twitter name is sitetutor.

Although I signed up over a year ago, I became hooked when I integrated it into my iphone. I did a seach on my town, and the first response was sent 20 minutes ago by Newt Gingrich saying he was in my town meeting with a company. The company he was meeting with is also my client. I have been hooked since then.

    See you twittering.

    Well, you're not alone.
I check the site and as I understand - but I'm sure I misunderstand it - you can send a small sentence to your followers telling them what you're doing right at that moment.

And I still can't understand why people will be interested by the fact that I'm drinking a soda or if I need to go right now. See what I mean?
Or more sriously, as RE agent, saying to other: "I'm doing an open house" or "i'm showing a 3bed/2bath on abc street" is not something I'll be interested to get on my phone to be honest...
And if it's " I have this on www . mysite . com, come to see it" and "it's all about www. mysite . com"...I call it spam...

So, if there is someone to help us how to use it for business, it would be great...

Its really a short messaging system. The difference is that one can view all of these messages from different ppl in a sequence. Since it can only go up to 140 characters per tweet (per msg) most use it to promote links. Others use it like an online chatting module to build relationships. I agree that it is kinda spammy but you can choose not to follow the ones you dislike. So meaning the ones that are following you are the ones you gave permission to them to do so. Another OPT-IN Marketing concept clone ! Ta daa!
