    Nice directory and I can tell you put some real work into it but the cold hard fact is that the #1 search engine, Google, is heavily penalizing directories unless they have a good working relationship with Google Adwords (like BOTW does).

    My directory, launched in 2004 has over 35,000 sites listed in it and it was once a PR6 site but after the last two Google updates, the directory is now PR1 although it's still listed all over the web and I get up to 100 submissions per day it is lame that it got penalized so harshly.

    My directory has always been FREE, and has no advertising but again, it's disheartening that Google took it upon themselves to slap it. I launched it as a public service and it was non-profit although it costs me resources on my dedicated server. So, I think what is going to happen is webmasters will find new ways to circumvent Google's rigid requirements.
