If you are confuse on what to do for your site..Choose Blogging and Social Bookmarking instead of Directory Submission..

Directories always take more time to approve. So Social bookmarking & blog creation is the best idea to promote anything fast.

You should try all of that, from bookmarking, creating blogs, directory submission to article directory submission. If you want to be visible on the top of the google SERP's, having variety of links is needed.
