Improving SERPS
What are you favorite ways of improving SERPs? Any good lists of DO FOLLOW Directorys for real estate related sites?
-
Posting on related forums, updating blogs with quality content, article submissions and link baiting are some of the good ways of increasing serps.

Most directories used to be good, but the links coming from them have been devalued lately. You really need to post to thousands of directories to see any benefit from them. The juice that you get from them is extremely low. Don't bother.
Create your own blog and keep it updated regularly. Build links from other sites, but avoid link exchanges. Just build enough relevant content and links to show Google that you have an important website.Russell Volk, REALTOR

Good information, Bucks. If you dont mind me asking, to which directories would you advice submitting? Does DMOZ still accept new entries???

I'm not sure about DMOZ. I've submitted my website back in 2006 and haven't checked since.
Just do a search for directories that accept dofollow links. You'll find plenty.Russell Volk, REALTOR

DMOZ usually takes some time to get listed which is actually a good thing as they are very careful at what sites they list which gives the sites listed a lot more link juice than the automated link directories. There are a lot of directories out there. I would look at the PR of the directories and try to spend most of your time submitting to the higher PR directory sites.
