I personally dont recommend content writers other than yourself and your colleagues and assistants. There are a lot of scammers out there so be careful, many content writers will distribute the same material to many people, so you do not get the SEO originality points and you get a penalty for having duplicate content as someone else.

I agree originality is the key. After all that is what google advocate. But you see, the problem is that the web needs content and lots of it. By writing solely by yourself or even a team of full time writers, one wouldn't be able to succeed consistently in exposing themselves as much as they want and its really not financially viable to maintain a team in a long run. Number two, those you compete with, will have an upperhand in gaining one step ahead because they have more backlinks in total. Why? Because they either use ghostwriters or plr content to outperform its competition.

As for me, I keep my personal blog original to build credibility and hope to reach a certain authority level. But I either use writers or edit plr content to manifest my site. Any comments?
