Not to be totally negative but I just do not understand how anyone could be in love wih L.A. Please expain your fixation with that city because I think I must have missed something in my many visits.

The people make the city. It's just way more relaxed than anything you couuld possibly hope to find on the east coast, including florida. In my experience, anyway.

ya the people make the city aright. along with the riots. the north hollywood shootout. all of the police chases. the non stop gang shootings, shall i go on? I grew up in LA and i finally had enough. Now san jose in the place to be. it one of the safest cities around.

    Default I Love California

I am interested to know which is the most desirable place to live in California. Most people would think somewhere in L.A., but is that a misconception?

My vote would go to Orange County because I am also working in these areas and I am getting good business from Orange County than from San Diego.

    Default San Diego county too...

I have been in San Diego county too. And really love that area. =) It is very different down in San Diego county. My mom still lives there and brothers and sister and they never had a dream for anything else.

But me I'm a visionary and want to know how others live and so I move to Orange County in the 70's. And have been here since. I have lived in Huntington Beach California for over 20's. Huntington Beach has won the safest place to live for many years and I agree.

So if you are looking for a home here email me. I'm a realtor for Century 21 Beachside HB. And can help you in all your needs.

And the homes maybe higher than Nevada, but is it safer.

    Have a great day..

    Your question is so interesting.

    What are you looking for?

just a couple of days ago, I read an article, stating that city of Irvine is the most fashionable place in the U.S.A. Yes, you heard it correct...not N.Y. but Irvine. It all came back on what you really want it?

as far as I can tell, both ORANGE COUNTY and SAN DIEGO county got beaches, nice schools, expensive homes, nice people and etc.

    One thing different though.

Orange county has DISNEYLAND (it is in the city of Anaheim) - the happiest place on earth

    good luck!
