    Default Only in the West!

According to latest NAR data, while median housing sales prices in February in all other three regions were below their February 2006 levels, the West was the only region where housing prices were still above last year's levels by 2.2%. This increase was registered despite the fact that the total number of housing units sold in the West in February of 2007 was by 9.6% lower than February 2006. These developments are consistent with the conventional economic scenario of declining demand/sales in the face of rising prices, which shows that demand outpaces supply

go west coast? It is great to see that we aren't losing TOO MUCH ground on home sales. I know in my county it went up, I can't remember how much but it did go up.
