I'm a licensed broker here in CA. I was referred to a licensed sales agent in Ohio who only does commercial sales and listings. He is looking to team up with me out here to conduct business.

I am wondering if anyone knows if this is legal:

  1. Advertising & Marketing - He wants to be able to market and solicit business from new clients in this state while he is in OH.
I know that NAR has put together a nice chart regarding OSL being able to perform only while they conduct the entire transaction outside of CA but I can't find anything regarding marketing & advertising.

In addition to this he is basically looking to have me put my name on everything that he does and I sign off on it. Does anyone know if I can use his name when listing or does this have to be my name at all times? I just want to be sure that if this is legal that there is 100% transparency in the transaction so the people who are interested/involved in the transaction know who is actually representing the property.
