Here in Bulgaria, until the beginning of the crisis, we were getting commissions from the both sides, however now it is useless to try and get commission fee from the both sides as there are no buyers who can actually afford buying anything...

Though it may seem like they are not doing much it is always best to get a realtor. A good realtor will take care of all of the odds, ends, and uphill paperwork battles. A short sale is especially complicated (in many instances). Finding a good realtor that you can trust will make your home search a much happier process.
