Blogging And Pinging For Traffic

I got this from the other forum and just wanna share this with you guys hope this might help...
One nice thing about today’s internet is you don’t have to be lonely for ever. If you have a new blog, all you really need to do is blog and ping to generate traffic. Of course you’ll have to write about popular subjects that people are interested in....more..

Thanks for the resource. In my opinion, pinging blogs and posts don't have any help now.

I don't ping any of my content, I just submit them to different social bookmarking sites.

The post is completely valid. I realized an article I wrote on my blog is already showing up on blogs across the internet. Highlighting 2 points of the article that I found very relevant. 1. Write an interesting article that others want to read. 2. Tags must be *relevant* and common and ideally 1 word. Don't make your tags a sentence long, no other webmaster search for that.

Yep, this is exactly what I'm dealing with. I'm doing an action plan for my super to let them know that I can generate a certain amount of hits by February '09.

ya, that was really so true, but now a days social media sites are also a good way to generate traffic.

Blogs really are so much better for traffic. I was all about static Web sites until earlier this year, and now I am a blog fanatic because of the traffic benefits. Plus, maintaining a blog is just more fun, and more profitable.

Its a good way to generate traffic by blogging and pinging. Other ways used nowadays are Social bookmarking and Press Release. They are also very useful to generate traffic.

too much pinging might cause you to be penalized or quarantined. The usual reaction of SEs.You should do it carefully, timely and appropriately. Abusive use can never make you anywhere.
