    Default blogging question

Ok so this blogging thing is really takeing off as I have been reading. I have started several company blogs but I cant for the life of me figure out how you get people to view them or come across them. Do I need to link them to my site? If thats the case they dont really do me much good as I was hoping to blog to bring in more traffic. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Default Blogging for Real Estate

Just having a blog won't bring readers, nor will it necessarily help your real estate business. It's a bit more complicated in the planning stage than that. However, there is no better way to position yourself as an expert in your area, and even some ways to get help in the process from future readers.

Real estate blogging tutorials that I've written here will show you how to garner neighborhood good will, get help with posts, and eventually have the ability to be the "go-to" place for information in your area. Your goal should start out to provide material that people will want to read, then the search engines can be considered.

Ok so I start provideing information to the community that is useful but I guess my main question is how do people know where it is? Lets say I write a blog on how to cure cancer and it is actually true, how do people know its been written? Would it pop up if someone googled "cancer cures" or something along those lines?

    I appreciate your help.

Default Too much for an answer.

You're asking for a complete tutorial on SEO and why blog posts are well-liked by the search engines. There's also how to write content for visitors and the engines. This is enough for a book. However, if you go to about.com and look at my sections on SEO, web sites and blogs, it will all become clearer after you've read it. All three sections in a row starting here.

Sites like Technorati and Recd.us are a great place to submit your articles and blogs to get some visitors. Also, joining a community like MyBlogLog and Blog Catalog can be very helpful in bringing you new visitors.

if you really wanted to get more traffic, i bet the good thing to do is to update your contents or write an interesting article on your blog and try an article submission and or link bait.
