from what I understand it is a way to let all of the RSS syndication sites know that you have updated your blog(s). It is also a good way for people who are looking to stay current on certain subjects to stay on top of the latest news. You can subscribe to one of the syndicator's feeds for a particular subject and that way you can see what the world is posting. Kinda cool. From an SEO standpoint, it probably doesn't hurt either.

Here is what I do. I created a folder in my bookmarks for Pingomatic. Then I bookmark the submission results page for each of my blogs on pingomatic. Then when I post something new on a blog, I load the bookmark for that blog's pingomatic results page and it resubmits as I did the first time. Really easy to do and it is part of my blogging routine.

    Thank you, Chachi!

I was being confused by some people who didn't understand it either.
This makes a lot of sense

    Cheers,
