    Default Keep changing blog template?

How often do you change your blog template?
Usually, i'm changing my blog templates weekly or monthly.
Is that bring any bad effect to my blog?

Yes. People are not used to change ... and usually don't like it.
So beside that probably visitors won't come back ... no other side effect.

Gosh, I would have thought that your time was better spent in writing new blog posts rather than chaning the theme.

You meant the visual blog template? Or did you mean "template" blogging? If you mean the visual theme of your site then I would say changing it on a weekly basis is probably too much as your site visitor hasn't got used to the current version yet - and if navigation items have changed then it may become confusing to the end user.

Well it actually depends. When you change your template for better use and SE crawler friendly, then it might bring positive feed back. But when you change and update your template into a more complicated one, you might be making crawlers confuse rather than helping them crawl your site well.
