I like the new wordpress blog theme. You should check that one out. I use it on my Katy TX Real Estate Blog.

I've been using Blogger since then and i can really advise other to use it. Specially now that it is upgraded and it has many features to offer. Every blog that i had is powered by blogger and it never fails me. For new blogger, it is no doubt the best to offer. But of course, Wordpress is the best also.

There are many blogs themes and to choose a good theme depends on your type of blog.

When considering themes, I wouldn't get too hung up on a Blog's style as it just creates a new excuse to avoid putting up content. What matters most is that the theme will work effectively under any viewing platform: phone, ipad, computer desktop.

For a nice, neat theme for Wordpress that does this I like "Yoko" by Elmastudio

As for blog topics, keep your ears tuned for any economic/financial news or movements that may impact on the property market. Write some kind of response to it and post it. Because it is current news, there will be many searching on the topic and search engines will reward your currency.
