Wordpress on Subdomain
hi, I tried to create a wordpress blog and host it on a free subdomain, but,i'm having trouble on my adsense. I placed it on the sidebar, but, It doesn't show. What could be the problem? I heard that if you have a blog on wordpress.com,ex. sample.wordpress.com - adsense will not appear, since wordpress does not allow this function. So what I did, i host it on a subdomain. Will it still not possible?
Here's my blog rehab-real-estate.freehostia. com // see on sponsor sidebar
Thanks.Last edited by rehabrealestate; 04-20-2010 at 12:34 AM. Reason: Link NOt working

Rehab, I host my WP blog on its own domain, so I can't answer your question directly, but I forwarded it to a couple of webmasters who have tons of experience with WP. Hopefully you'll have help by the weekend.
View our Realtor.com page for contact info and visit our complete list of allMaui condos in Wailea updated in real time. View our WP Maui site and Maui Weebly Page for local events, market data, and property listings.

I believe adsense or other advertising ads on Wordpress.com Blogs are not allowed. So I think that's the reason why the adsense codes don't appear or display in your blog. Just host your blog on its own domain.

Blogger?
If you really want to use adsense and a free Blog hosting site then I suggest using Blogger.

Go with WordPress.org self-hosted site
The thing to do here is head on over to WordPress.org and download the lastest version to install on your own hosting account.

What are you trying to do with your blog? It's not always a good idea to have adsense. If you have nothing to sell, maybe.
You are working hard to bring traffic to your site and then having them go away for few cents.
Maybe you should have an affiliate offer. Don't try to have too many call to action.
