I will be honest in my assessment of your site, I do design, marketing and SEO so here are my two cents worth:

    1. Fist of all as far as website design, this is a standard WordPress template and I don't think it is the best choice because if you will try to enhance it with graphics you will need to match the sandy background. If you want people to read what you have to say, I recommend using graphics close to the header of your post.

    2. You making a big and quite possibly costly mistake by copying and pasting some of your content in the forum. Google has indexed some of your content in the forum but not on your site. That means that when Google will crawl your blog, it will probably count it as duplicate content and your blog will not show up in Google page results. Google penalizes websites who uses someone else s content and in this case as far as Google's computers concern you took content from this forum. Ouch! That may cost you rankings.

    3. I am not entirely sure that most of your marketing ideas actually will work. Have you tested them?

Hope there are no hard feelings because I am sure you have the best of intentions but when dealing with search engines one must play by search engines rules.

Now thats funny...and a great question.

I'm not going to bash anyone's site...and being new here I'm not sure it's my place to be dishing out advice. But this thread caught my attention while I was looking for something and I just had to comment.

I own a great many blogs that are built very similar to Web4Realty...we call them autoblogs because most of the content is generated automatically. If done properly it can be a very effective.

Things that we do one ours that are a little different:

All of our post have a category...no categorized post (bad juju)

We always allow comments on all posts....helps the site grow plus gives our readers a way to interact with us.

I love social bookmarks...allows people to share our content if they like it.

There is a lot more but thats for another day.

Best of luck on your site w4r....

    tlb

PS work on getting more backlinks...you only have 5 or so and keep up the work on twitter...(you can automate that process if you like)
