Blogging and RealEstate Listings Management
I have been researching the integration of realestate listings management with CMS and blogs and find the so called "state of the art" integrations/bridges lacking. Probably the leader is open-realty with Joomla followed by Wordpress Jrealty.
I won't go into the pros or cons of either as they do serve a purpose and both work to a degree. However, for me integration is a labored approach full of real and potential bugs and conflicts between the listing manager and the CMS. My conceptualization has to do with environments, i.e. running listings manager in a Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, etc environments. The pros of this approach are the elimination of integration bugs and conflicts and that theoretically listings management can work in any environment.
I'd like opinions on bugs and workability (usefulness) from Realtors/agents who now have both CMS/Blogs and real estate listings management. I also would like to know your thoughts on CMS integration and if it is on your radar if you don't have it already.
Pls post your thoughts here as I will be away for 2 weeks and won't be able to answer any emails or PM.
It is considered wise to stand on the shoulders of giants but foolish to put yourself in front of them.
