Default How Many Blogs Do You Have?

I am just curious. How many blogs do you maintain?
I'm talking about blogs, not posts, ok?
For SEO purposes, I make 3 blogs in a week.

I too maintain three blogs for SEO purposes. I think it all depends upon the quality that you maintain while writing blog articles. But, yes 2-3 is a fine figure.

    Default Why different blogs?

Why would you want different blogs for SEO purposes? Technically search engines prefer one long-standing site with lots of good information rather than three separate sites with scattered information.

It's because the sites that I am handling are of different niche.
It wouldn't be a good idea to have a blog with internet marketing and food topics together wouldn't it?

Yeah if you are going to make a lot of blogs you need to use different domain registration information and different ips or I think google can tell you own all the sites. You must also be careful of interlinking.

Can Google really penalize someone for publishing duplicate content on multiple blogs? With all of the different social media platforms, people need multiple blogs to reach their readers. I am just speculating here when i say this, wouldn't Google just take away the link juice or would they remove it from the index?

I've been wondering about that because I have 6+ blogs/websites about different real estate properties all linking back to the main one (main one never links to the others though) Does anybody know if google penalizes me for having duplicate content on two different websites because alot of the information on satellite websites comes from the main one.

I have 7 blogs but 4 of them are my personal blogs and the rest are for real estate properties I sell.

Foreigners can own condominium properties in the Philippines.

No.Google does not penalize websites for duplicated content, period. What it will do is to give the ultimatum to the website that has the most backlinks which carries that particular article as the `authority'. Meaning, in your case, your mainstream website might get to rank well instead of your `sub-blogs.'
