I love blogger because it is easy to maintain as compared to wordpress in which you have to install plug-ins in it.

Think that there are a lot of great similarities between the two blogging platforms but my personal favorite is wordpress. They both have a great and loyal following and you can build terrific blogs on either.

In my experience Wordpress is the preferred blog platform of the serious bloggers. Blogger is more for the casual blogger or someone who is simple experimenting with blogs.

Wordpress allows for much more customization and individuality. Many blogs you see today have a wordpress template or theme, but you wont notice unless you know what to look for.

Blogger is indeed easy to setup and a great platform for newbie bloggers, but I like WP more for its flexibility, especially when it comes to SEO, with all the plugins and extensions. WP for me can't be beat.

I've always started with Wordpress and I don't think I'll ever switch to another platform. I'm satisfied with Wordpress.

You can also use wordpress as a free blog, but it will have the term "wordpress.com" after your intended domain name. For example, if you want your blog to have a name "abc", then your blog will have an address like: abc.wordpress.com
