Just warn the spammers about possible ban and try to conrol what is going on your blog from time to time. This is very simple, I must admit.

I'd strongly suggest that comments only be published AFTER you have approved them. Otherwise, a comment could be on there for a week before you noticed it (with inflammatory or offensive remarks). Best of luck.
View our Realtor.com page for contact info and visit our complete list of allMaui condos in Wailea updated in real time. View our WP Maui site and Maui Weebly Page for local events, market data, and property listings.

    Default To me it depends

If the spammer has some decent content then I let it stay. I even try some positive communication with them. Because I feel not all spammers are created equal, some are just over ambitious business men trying to get their message out and going about it the wrong way. Others are computer programs sending out 1000's of tags per hours.
So If its just get viagra cheap now with a web address or some nonsense I just delete it

Yes maui is right. It's best that all comments should be in queue for approval before they are publicly visible.

Which blogging platform do you use for your blog? For wordpress by default there is Akismet loaded as a plugin, this catches pretty much all or most of the spam comments, what you also would do is make sure all of your comments are moderated before they go live like someone has said before.

We only use our blog to let people know about new listings and price reductions, all comments are pretty much ignored due to the fact that 99% of them are spam.
