    Default Need agents to test a new online lead gen service

    We're looking for agents to test an online feedback/rating system. Beta testers that sign up for this can collect customer feedback and be listed in our directory for free for 90-days. It's an easy way to connect with your customers and it might turn out to be something that you get a lot of leads from. We're dumping a lot into advertising.

    Can you be more specific on what your system will be?

    The concept is simple: have a neutral 3rd party -- us, agentgrade.org -- collect feedback from your past clients and tally an overall "grade" for you. You, as the agent, have full control over who is invited to leave feedback, so you can make sure your score remains positive. Then, when seeking new buyers or sellers, particularly competitive listing situations, you can reference your AgentGrade as an indicator of your quality of service and reputation.

    With so many agents in the business, we wanted to offer a way to differentiate yourself based on quality, not quantity of transactions.

    So, what we're looking for is agents who want to get some feedback from past clients. It's as simple as inviting them to take a survey, which is a good practice anyway, and then let us know what you think of the system.

    Home is where the heart is. If you're like most people, your home is also your single largest investment. It’s not only a monetary investment; you trust this home to hold up through the years, to be safe. Take the time to examine your priorities and find the right real-estate agent.
    The first step in choosing a good realtor is finding realtors in your area. The best way to find a realtor in your area is through referrals. Ask your friends, family, or colleagues who’ve bought or sold a home for good recommendations. If you can’t get any referrals, check with your local realtors association. Once you have a few options for realtors, you should set up interviews with each of them.
    Before the interview, write down the questions you want to ask them so you know you don’t forget anything. While the questions asked depend on your preferences, it’s always good to find out if they are a licensed realtor, how much experience they have, and how familiar they are with the neighborhoods you want to live in. You should also find out their availability. If they have a lot of clients, they may take so much time getting to you about a house on the market that you lose the chance to bid on your dream home. You should also make sure the price range your realtor specializes in matches your own.
    Above all else, you want to find a realtor that you are comfortable with and who you feel understands your needs. You want someone who is working in your best interest. Good luck and happy house hunting.

    I like your concept to an extent. I have always felt it would be nice for consumers to have a way to communicate and check on the quality of agents. Since it is absolutely the case that not all agents are of equal quality. I am concerned about spending much time pushing this site. The concern is in how much is it going to cost me down the road. What fees do you intend to charge in the future. Since your business model must have a profit mechanism or I will just be wasting my time encouraging people to visit the page just to have it fail. I also dont want to find out that 3 months down the line you will start trying to charge $30 or more dollars to keep my listing. I think more agents will be willing to do BETA testing for you if you grandfather them to the page. Meaning not charge them for having a listing on the site. Please respond with your take.

    The fees are only $7.95/mo. It's a volume-based business, nobody would pay $30+ for a simply profile like this. But, if you do even one listing per month, it's worth 8 bucks to get feedback from that person and have it shared online for the world to see.

    As for beta testers being grandfathered... I'm not going to make a blanket invitation in a public forum like this (I might end up giving away the farm) but send me a private message if you're really interested in using the site and I'll set up the first 50 or so with a lifetime membership.
