Thread: Can anyone do SEO for $$$ for a Flash Site?

I haven't heard of it yet but if you want to
build your site then do it. There's nothing wrong
with trying and ask for alternative process.
I'll do some research about that instead.

SEO is extremely hard to do for a flash site. I personally wouldn't even attempt to work with the site unless you were paying a pretty penny, as it's just not worth the time.

SEO for Flash is pretty difficult. A good starting point is owning the domain with keywords in it relevant for what you are aiming for being top of Google with. Google and Adobe have been working close recently to improve text reading in .swfs however it is nowhere near as point worthy as proper standards X/HTML driven sites.

This means your site popularity would heavily rely on inbound links so you are at a great disadvantage in comparison with competition.

search engines cannot index the content in flash....so they are really hard to optimize. if you are serious about SEO, go with joomla or wordpress as a content management system. you can still have flash, but your content will get indexed.

It's definitely possible, but you'd be better off spending your money getting a Wordpress site up where there's more content to be indexed. I've done Wordpress websites for $1500 that I've been able to rank much easier than a flash site, for less effort.

My advice is don't do it, flash is just too slow and search engines just don't like it.

Aside from that do you really think flash sites are appealing?

Flash is to costly and time consuming to do SEO for. Unless your a very large corporation with plenty of cash to burn I would highly suggest going with something else.
