You take your license under your arm and you say " good bye and good luck ". Then you get into your car. You drive to the office of your choice and say " hello, I'd like to put my license here, I'll be good and will do my best".
That's about it...Nothing fancy...

Do you have any listings or pending sales that your are worried about? Technically these belong to the broker, but sometimes your broker will allow you to take them with you.

Yes, be sure to quietly find out your current company's policy. Some agencies keep the listing and take an extra % of any pending sales if within a certain period of closing. They're all different, but this is an area to investigate. Research thoroughly the agency you are thinking about and talk to agents who work there as well. Find out if they give you a website, pay for advertising and/or farming card mailings...offer floor time and open houses (if you need them) any additional training. Ask about annual "fees". Be discrete in all this, of course. Best to you!Morristown NJ Real Estate, Chatham NJ Real Estate and Short Hills NJ Real Estate - Specializing in NJ Midtown Direct Real Estate

Well, I would say that first find out the company in which you want to get a job as a real estate broker only then you can leave the job rite before getting the appointment letter in your hand .. these things work if you are working in a small company and vice versa for big company.

If you want to work with bigger company then it is your legal right.. The only thing that you should do is to participate or do all such activities..
