Relevant Questions to Ask a Real Estate Agent
I am compiling a list of relevant questions to ask to a real estate agent. Below are some of them. Can you add to the list?
1. How much experience do you have in this business?
2. What will be your strategy for my needs?
3. Can you provide any references?
4. Do you have enough time to devote to me?
5. Will you be able to refer me to other professionals?
6. What will be your brokerage fee?
7. What happens if I am not satisfied with your services?
8. Last, but not the least, why would I choose you?

I use this on my listing presentation, if any. It's a great tool.
However, you should google it. There are thousand of Realtor sites with those questions.
Mine are at http://www.isellsevier.com/resources/14questions.php
It might help you to grab few if you wish...

I would ask about feedback on showings and how often they will update you on the status of things.
You may also want to ask their opinion of open houses.
These two things may help to make sure that you will be on the same page as the Realtor.
Hope that helps!Nicole Marvin, GRI, Realtor

I definetly would like to know more about the marketing campaign. Does he or she advertise in Homes and Land, newspaper, how many open houses can you do, etc. Does he have a website? How much traffic does it get, will they show you stats, will they advertise on the web? If so, where.
Thats for the selling portion. Buying right now is kind of hit or miss. Negotiation skills would be a must, but how do you screen someone for that?
