    Exclamation Southern Oregon Farmhouses

I am looking for an old southern oregon farm house, like you would find along the 2 lane highway maybe going to kalamoth falls or the like.... i am looking around outside the Medford area...

I dont need the 40 or so acres that go with it, just maybe an acre or 2

how do i find something like that? i know not all farmers just pass down their houses to their kids...

can anyone point me in the right direction ?

The best route would be to buy up one of the property with 40 acres then spin off the extra land to farmers in the area. You will most likely find out that you can't find properties with only 1-2 acres do to urban growth boundaries. But you can probably buy up a 40 acre parcel that has the house and the barn that you want. Then short plot the property with the county keeping 5 acres with the house and then selling the other 35 acres to another farm in the area. Another option that will help you accomplish your goal of finding a house is to buy the larger parcel and rent the land out. This is a very common thing. Many seed companies rent land all the time. Hope I was of some help.
