Default Can Seller's Agent contact the buyers?

Hi everyone, we are selling our house we have the house listed with an agent, there is this buyer's agent contacting our agent to show our house, but she already cancled our appointment twice. my question is,"Is our agent allowed to get information about the buyer from their agent to see if they are actually existed or they are fictional buyers.( we hate to get played with those kind of agents and buyers).

    Thank you so much

Please ignore the above post, this person is what we call a spammer.

I don't understand why you would think the buyer's agent is pulling a trick on you. Most likely their buyers are busy people and are having a hard time find the time to get out and look at houses.

Remember, if they watch TV they are constantly being told to NOT buy a house right now so it is hard to get a buyer motivated in this atmosphere.

The best thing you can do is make sure your house is priced to sell, it looks its best and it is available to see when a buyer comes along. If it is not, you are setting yourself up for a lot of frustration and disappointment.

    Default Cancelled appts

    Hi,

Unfortunately, cancelled appointments are a common occurence when selling your home. Your agent should certainly followup with the buyer's agent to reschedule the appointment and can certainly ask about them. A good buyer's agent, however, is not going to give too much info about their clients at this point.

    Good luck selling your home!

Ditto to the two posts above. Scheduling showings can very often be extremely frustrating, not only for sellers, but for the agents as well. Buyers often cancel at the last minute... or sometimes they will schedule a block of two hours, then show up late and leave only time for one hour of showings. Or on occasion they become so preoccupied with one home that they don't leave time for others.

The best advice for a seller is not to over-analyze, and to keep your emotions in check as best as possible. Be courteous and accommodating, even if you aren't feeling that way. This agent may well schedule a third appointment and write an offer! It's not in your interest to make a big deal out of this. Not that I can see.

    Good luck!
