    Default Can I haggle on a new home?

    I am checking out some newly built homes in brand new communities. They have a price list of the homes available and I was wondering if it is possible to haggle down the price?

    Everything is negociable. Why not to try. Worst case scenario, they say no and you are in the same position as now....

    You can definitely haggle on new home prices. Builders usually offer much better deals on spec homes than build jobs. You also might want to find out when their end of quarter and end of year are. They are usually more motivated around these times.
