On the Market
First time home buyer.
I want to be able to search listings, and find out how long the home has been listed. Is there a way to do this? We are working with our current realtor who said it was illegal to share this information. Is that true?

Not illegal as far as I know... however in a sluggish market I don't think it has much relevance to your decision. With all the inventory available it will take time to move it all.
When you find the house you love, have your agent do a comparative market analysis to make sure you get it for the right price.Search the Tampa Florida Real Estate MLS

Depends on what the rules are of the MLS board. Each board has their own rules and you will need to ask them.

I agree.... If the house is the right home for you, run the numbers and make an offer. Days on Market is only one small part of the puzzle. Not to mention it may have been priced much higher than it is now and that could explain the higher DOM and why it did not sell before.

Yup, don't focus too much on it. I can't imagine it would be illegal to share DOM but like said above each board makes its own rules.
