    Default Working for 2 brokers

    i am a licensed real estate sales agent in nyc. can i work for 2 different brokers at the same time. if so how do i go about it, and more importantly how do you decide which broker gets the commission on a particular deal.

    I would think that it would be a conflict of interest. Do you have a no-compete in any documents that you signed?

    Alexa I know that would not work in California. A sales license hangs under a single broker here. Why would you want to work for more than one company?

    Wouldn't work in Missouri. You have to be under one broker only.

    In NC you can do it with the permission of both brokers. Call your real estate license board.

    That is correct whoever said that about Florida. You can however work for 2 different brokers as long as they are in different states.
