    Default Considering future resale value

When buying a custom home and deciding what should go in. I have always been told nice kitchen and master bath sells the home.

Are people also interested in radiant barriers, e-2 windows, 2 zone a/c & heat, insulated blinds, energy efficent appliances.

I am just curious with the energy cost for electric so high could people change what they think is important and think more energy efficient homes than granite kitchens or spa bath tub in the master?

I think what features to put in a custom home will be highly Dependant on location and will change over time. How many buyers today are really looking for a home with a wet bar in the family room ? That seems to be a common feature I see in a lot of custom homes built here in California in the W's. Energy efficient appliances would be a nice feature that seems unlikely to go out of fashion.
