Both of my business partners used to work for one of those Real Estate mass produced templated web site providers and I will ask them tomorrow.
I have heard the term so much lately and never really figgured out what it is
Dang, I should not mingle anywhere but in the Search Engine Marketing section

Yes, MLS does stand for Multiple Listing Service. Most times an MLS is provided by the local board of REALTORS (not shouting, NAR is very particular about how REALTORS is displayed). If you are an agent or broker you should be able to contact your board and ask them if they have a way to publish MLS listings on your website. There are usually two solutions, one uses framed pages, where the listings come from another site and your site has a "frame" around those pages. The other solution usually involves a custom database solution and downloading the property information daily from the board's server. There are plenty of companies out there that sell solutions, but the best place to start is with your local board or whomever provides your MLS system.

Depending on your state regulations for the real estate listings located inside the MLS, some states require that the broker sign for the use of the IDX system and others require that the real estate agent and webmaster sign an agreement as to the use of the data. As suggested contact your local MLS board and ask them what there procedure is.
There are also companies on the internet you can sign up with them to use their IDX system, sometimes this is a better way to go because their technology is better than your local boards. The way you allow your consumers to search for homes for sale in your area will also be a factor in your conversion rate of the number of leads you get in.Looking For A Real Estate Specialists in Las Vegas Check out our Las Vegas Real Estate Portal.
