Looking for a Home in NJ OR NY
Hi I am looking for a house under $100,000.00 in New York or New Jersey in a low crime area, the house must have at least 3 or more bedrooms and one or more baths, any suggestions would be welcomed?

Under 100K?
That would be very hard to find in the NY/NJ area. The least you can get in NY/NJ for a 3 bedroom is at least 200K.

We are currently looking on Long Island. There is nothing here for under 100K. You would be lucky to find something for 250k in a low crime area. You may find something upstate for around 150k. But under 100k may be wishful thinking. Good luck with your search!

As a former Long Islander. No Way. I bought my first house in Moriches for $97,000 in 1991. 2/1, no garage.
