What kind of things do you look for in a LENDER?
Hi All!
When dealing with your preferred Lender, what are the kind of things that are your requirements? What are the things you would like to change with your lender? Are you working with a lender now? If so, is it a Big bank, Direct, or Broker?
I am strictly using this information to help me focus better on the needs of the business! Thanks a bunch!!!

The first factor is honesty and constant updates regarding my clients situation.
I do not have a preferred lender, I always suggest buyers talk to 3 or 4 lenders
and request a good faith estimate from each, that way my clients are getting the
best possible loan for their needs.

While dealing with your lender one should keep a check in the market as well to see if there are other opportunities available which can really give him benefit. Plus try not to deal if its interest rates are high.

Is this forum really this inactive? Seems that it is more filled with spam from people from China.... Is there an actual real estate forum that has active users that are not just spam bots?

Actually, this is one of the best forums that consumers visit. Which may be why the spambots flock here. Sadly the bots often answer a consumer's question with gibberish.
All I can say is flag the bots and maybe the mods can block their IP addresses.Mark Brian Silver Star Real Estate

Thank you
Thank you for your feedback.. I think working side by side with a Lender can provide you with many benefits. First time home buyer leads, insight to daily mortgage rates, and someone you can trust to get a loan closed quickly. These were all great answers much appreciated!

Easy to contact, experience, and a lender that communicates frequently with all parties involved in the transaction.
I would also say a lender that is good at communicating "what to expect" during the process. This helps set expectations with clients and prepares them for possible challenges.Chris Kukelhan
