Default buying--need website--most up to date listings--will pay fee

I have a real estate agent and I am pre-approved, but I need help finding a website with up to date listings. I am looking for a home in rural columbus ohio areas such as Dublin, Delaware, Powell. I want to be able to get info on a house as soon as it as listed. I don't trust anyone 100 percent and would like to be able to have access to this information myself. I am willing to pay a monthly fee. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me. Usually I am pretty good with google, but this time I have failed.

Your agent should be able to set you up with email alerts that sends you listings as soon as they hit the MLS.

If you do not trust your agent.....

Then you need to find an agent that has a website with an MLS search. Most will require registration. Maybe the agent you are working with has such a website?

Again, if you are working with an agent the fastest and most efficient way to learn about the new listings is the email alert.

If you are wanting access to the MLS, it is limited to the members that pay to join the MLS. Some MLS have a public version, maybe the MLS in your area has one?

I found one that way, but it does not work that well. I have to create a new login every time I use it. The fact that they don't have this information easily public shows how shady the real estate world is. I use to sell cars and home loans, now I work in IT. This is my first house and I have been treated very poorly by several agents. Maybe I am just a bit more perceptive then the average joe, not sure. I can tell when they are just trying to make a sale or gross me on a deal. Buying a house feels like such a game and its not fun at all. I use to work in construction when I was 18-20 years old so I understand what to look for. Searching for the right house feels like a full time job. I figure if agents are going to treat me poorly I can do the leg work for my self and just use an agent to make sure the paper work looks good. I understand just enough to know when someone is trying to make a quick buck. So far that has proved to be 7 out of 7 agents.

Sounds like you found one website that was not set up very well or maybe it sent a confirmation email that is going to your spam filter?

The fact is listings are very easy to find on the internet. I would suggest checking out Realtor.com, trulia, zillow or any of the many many other websites that publicly display homes for sale. There are many websites to look at homes for sale, this information is not hidden

If 7 out of 7 agents have treated you badly, then I start to wonder if the problem is the agents?

Good luck and best wishes with your home search.
