    Default split a triplex

    Does anyone know how to split a triplex to sell each unit separately? what steps I need to take or whom I need to see first to start the process?I am in california

    Each of the units has to have an APN number. That would be up to the city or county planners. Good luck getting that done in California.

    I did this in Florida.
    A lawyer will make the paperworks to create the bylaws and the deeds. Few months. It is nothing else than a condo conversion...

    Default Parcel Adjusting

    I'm pretty sure each unit will need it's own parcel. This can sometimes be done by splitting a larger parcel or adjusting lot lines. Talk to your local planning commissioner.
