YES! Facebook is the most commonly used website very basically everyone. Everyone who uses Facebook uses it frequently, is savvy with it, and takes advantage of the opportunities on there! Very very very effective advertising. Facebook also keeps track of your conversion numbers (amongst other things).

When you consider that nearly every business establishment now have a facebook page as well as a website, It is definitely effective. Facebook and other social media sites also has that option that you can get a feedback from your customers immediately and you can also find other real estate professionals in social media sites more effectively than in most conventions combined.

Online readers tend to trust more the information they get from social media rather than direct advertisement from people. By actively participating in online groups or social media, you gain credibility.

Yes Carla, While visiting the main sites will be much more informative. People really like social media a lot, don't know why. Is it the casual approach it has?

    Default Yes Facebook is Effective

Yes, Facebook is effective. When it comes to social media sites the are a great way to drive traffic to your site. What most people do wrong is post too many sales pitches on Facebook which makes people not want to pay attention to you.
