    Default relocation company

I made an offer today on a home with my realtor to a relocation company that owns the house. I have already been pre-approved for my loan by the lender of my choice. The relocation company has a loan company of their own and said "I have to be pre-approved by the designated licensed loan originator to ascertain buyer's financial viability" Why do I have to apply for a 2nd loan, and can they stop the sale if i refuse? Thanks

You don't have to apply for a second loan. You just have to talk to their loan officer so they can verify you qualify for the loan. Don't fill out ay forms or give them any money. Just talk to them.
