Default How many RE offices are still using pagers?

I'm wondering how many RE offices are still using pagers with their sales agents? Does anyone have a guess as to the percentage of offices still using pagers?

    Thanks...

There was talk that most Real Estate offices in California are planning to go paperless and turn automated, but the recent robo-signing controversy have put a halt to that. With so many lawsuits and false foreclosure claims, the courts and the customers need documents to present their claims.

The robo-signers are people employed by lenders who signed mortgage applications and other documents despite not being authorized to do so and without correct review of the documents. There is also the problem with missing documentation due to small lending companies being taken over by big ones. This made processing of delinquent loans difficult because the loans became illegal and fraudulent.

I would say zero. I have not seen anyone with a pager in years. They are using text messaging now or email.

Thanks Eugene. Then how does the office contact a sales agent? They would have to use a cell phone as a kind of master dispatch unit to send out text messages? Or does every agent in the office answering phones have everyone else in their own cell phone so they can dispatch out a txt msg as needed?

Not very many offices would use pagers in this day and age. Cell phones have pretty much made them obsolete, and since every agent has a cell phone a pager is completely unnecessary. The office just sends us a text message.

    Default Pagers

Fastest answer is no one uses pagers - cell phone, text or email
