Homesteads?
I need some info on a homestead!
I have a homstead on my current residence becuase an individual tried to sue my husband and got a judgement on my property and tried to force a sale so we had to file a homestead on it , but now ,a year later my son needs us to help with a purchase of a home and i would like to know if it would affect our chances when title searches the property do they check out our current residence?

Call your local lender that you want to use and have them pull your credit. They should be able to answer all of your questions.
